Troubleshooting the Offline HP Printer Problem

When your workplace is using an online HP printer setup then suddenly it shows that offline printer problem, you may get so annoyed especially if you are doing something important. There are actually two ways to solve this and avoid getting cranky all day just because of a printer; either you call someone to help you or you troubleshoot it by yourself. Why not try the second option? Here are the right ways to do it and fix that offline HP printer problem.

1. Check the cables, as in all the cables since the connection happens on these long wires.

2. Turn off the printer then turn it on again after a few minutes. It may just need to do some rebooting.

3. Examine your HP toners or HP inkjet cartridges if these are already empty or the installation was not properly made. Online printers always have the tendency to go offline when there is a problem on the cartridges.

4. Do some cleaning in your printer and take off those dirt or stuck materials inside which may have caused the printer to stop performing.

5. Set your printer as the default one for your computer. You can do this by going to the Control Panel then clicking on the Printer options.

When you have done all of these steps, I’m pretty sure your printer will work normally again. If not, it’s time for you to call that more techy guy to repair your machine.
