Canon Releases Mobile Printing App for its Users

Canon USA has announced the release of their own mobile printing application, which is "designed to meet the demands of the new mobile office paradigm." The Canon Mobile Printing App is said to provide Canon printer users with a professional app designed to print files and images while on the go, or without being tethered to your desk, cubicle or office--a mobile app that meets any kind of on-the-go print demands with several tools and features such as the following:

The Canon Mobile Printing App can print e-mail attachments like Microsoft® Office files (doc, docx, xls, xlsx, ppt, & pptx files), iWork® files, PDF files, and image under JPG, GIF, BMP, PNG, and TIF file extension stored in your iPhone or iPad devices. You can also browse the web from the built-in web browsers in your Apple mobile devices and print web pages or take photos and print them instantly. It supports iPhone 5, iPhone 4S, iPhone 4, The new iPad, iPad 2 and The original iPad.

It is compatible on selected Canon printers including Canon imageCLASS desktop laser printers and multifunction printers, Canon MF4000 printer models, and imageRUNNER ADVANCE C5200, 6200, and 8200 enterprise multifunction office systems.
