Wearable Planter - Make Your Plant an Accessory

Miniature objects has a way of being perceived as something "cute" and "adorable", that's why when I stumbled upon a miniature plant designed as a jewelry. The Wearable Planter are jewelries designed to be don on your neck as an accessory, created through using an emerging printing technology known as 3D printing.

As stated in their official website WearablePlanter.com: "All of our jewelry is produced using an emerging technology known as 3D printing. This technology allows us to create items on demand in more complex forms than older manufacturing techniques. Not only does this create little waste in its manufacture, but we're also working to bring all of our production even closer to our studio to minimize our environmental impact."

There are several types of Wearable Planter you can check out in their official site. One of their bestseller is the Miniature Icosahedron, the one you can see from the picture. It is is created digitally through the use of a modeling software, and 3D printed out of acrylic plastic. "The original idea for the wearable planter came from the desire to create something with an heirloom quality out of plastic," described by its manufacturer. "It's a material that last for thousands of years, yet its applications are only temporary. This solves that problem, something beautiful can be made out of this material."

Aside from wearable planter necklaces, Wearable Planter also offers a Planter for Your Bike, Air Plant Brooch, Wearable Planter Label Pin and Wearable Planter Pin. Wearable Planter is an art and design studio in Atlanta, Georgia which believes "that the world would be a happier place if people appreciated nature a little more, and were willing to carry a plant close to their heart from time to time" thus creating these awesome little planters you and I can wear anywhere we go.

TonerGreen, like Wearable Planter, also shares the same vision of making the world a greener place to live by recycling printer cartridges, remanufactured and selling them as eco-friendly toner cartridges and eco-friendly ink cartridges for those everyone who has a green thumb and would want to print green.
